Who: Shinjiro, Junpei, and you! Wait, did I say Shinjiro and Junpei? I meant Santa Claus. Santa's helpers. Something like that.
Where: Various apartment locations.
When: First part: before Cupid's party. Second part: Late at night on Christmas Eve and the wee morning hours of Christmas Day.
Summary: It's a three-parter! Part One: Junpei volunteers Shinjiro to cook. Part Two: Junpei makes it up to him. Part Three: Two not-so-mysterious boys venture into the apartments to deliver special gifts.
Warnings: Shinjiro's mouth as usual.

Jean hasn't been having the easiest time finding his apparent in this wildly large complex, his world's buildings couldn't even compare to something so grand, almost like he was walking through room embedded within the walls, always finding himself on the wrong floor. This time however has wasted him hours trying to get back to his room, the kid is just tired alright?

Tired, suffering with a bit of culture shock....... and cold.

Shinjiro just happens to be the first human being Jeans run into within those 'hours', on top of that it's his door Shinji is hanging cookies onto, "HEY! HEY YOU!!" Jean points to the older teen, flagging him down.

Shinjiro doesn't feel threatened when he hears the other teen, but who knows how Junpei will react. So much for stealth and secrecy. But...

"Keep it down, people are asleep."

"Whatever.." Jean lowers his voice, however, keeping it quiet.

"I've got some questions for you, rhinestones." Interesting choice of nickname, Jean meant it none hostailey but those rarely come off anything but, "Where is this place? .....And do you know where apartment 3-03 is?" tone growing softer with each sentence.

Rhinestones? What kind of an insult was that? Shinjiro arches an eyebrow at the unexpected company. "Building two." Shinjiro looks at the number on the door, then turns around and points. "That's 3-03."

"...Oh." He looks in the direction Shinjiro pointed in, taking note. "Thanks, hey ah-- do you know what all the fuss is about?" Meaning the holiday.. Jean has yet to understand the meaning behind Christmas. He's just got here and yet everyone seems to be excited over some holiday.

Mind if I jump in?

"Heey, Senpai! I took care of the-- Huh?"

He blinked at the two other boys, then looked a little dejected.

"Aw man, we were supposed to keep this a Christmas Secret...!"

But, the guy looked a little lost... And Junpei didn't recognize him. Huh, he didn't go down to the welcome center this month, did he? So maybe this guy was a new arrival?

"You new here, dude?"

Jean gives the new guy a look, they both seem nice (one a little more so-) "Yeah, do people usually stay out this late?" Junpei, this poor guy is going through some major culture shock let me tell you..

"I'm looking for my room.. not used to livin' in a place like this. This building is massive.." Jean looks around, these hallways seem endless to him..


... "Hey ah, I was going to ask the other guy too but..
Why aren't there any walls here? Should we be worried about the titans? And what's up with this Christmas thing?"

"Everyone's asleep." But if this guy was a nightowl, all the more power to him.

Maybe he lives in the boonies, Shinjiro thought. Small town guy probably wasn't used to apartments and city life in general. But then he mentions walls and titans... He could understand the holiday being foreign, though. He'd met a lot of people from different worlds, so the least they could do was explain it a little.

"Not sure what you're getting at. Christmas is a holiday. Has different meanings to everyone, but it's mostly for giving gifts to other people."

"Walls n' Titans? What's a Titan?"

He could hazard his own guess; Minako had summoned something called a Titan way back when, but Junpei doubted it was like that for this guy. He nodded at Shinjiro's explanation, before turning back to the other teen.

"In some countries it's like, a religious holiday, but where we're from it's more of a time to hang out with friends or go on a date."

Sigh, no time to worry about Christmas dates for him... not like he was ready for that, anyway.

"Oh, right; I'm Junpei Iori-- and this is Shinjiro Aragaki, my senpai. You?"

Dang.. That must be why these guys are the only people out and about right now -- hope nobody was woken by his loud ass this time of night. At least that's one thing that's normal, sleeping during the night.. "Jean. Jean Kirschtein." He holds out his hand for both of them to shake.

Hey, he's learned (or in some cases remembered) some manners from the military. You shake hands, it's something people do, it's considerit, got it?

The idea of Christmas sounds nice for the most part, minus the whole 'religion' thing, "You mean those Wall Worshipers? They might give gifts to the walls for a holiday but I've never heard of them giving back to the people behind 'em." A little smile, things were different here at least-- "Then again, you just asked what a titan was.. how do you not know? They are the monsters that live outside the walls..." directing Junpei with the question but still minding Shinjiro.
