She submerges her hands in the waters, until the little candle and boat float free in the water. While she isn't sure if this is what's normally done, M'gann also gives the surrounding water the gentlest nudge to form a small current.
She keeps her eyes on the candle as it winds its way out into the river, and only lets her breath out and takes her hands out of the water when she sees it join the other dots of light.
