[Pete's been making good time with the lights, even if he does seem a little lost in thought. Really he's just hoping keeping himself busy will help keep his mind off the whole "surprise! You've been kidnapped!" thing. Which isn't working quite as well as he'd hoped, and if anything he's just getting more and more homesick.
Still, he's been doing a good job, largely thanks to plenty of experience hanging the lights on the Christmas tree back home, even if he did usually have Aunt May pitching in. Uncle Ben, too. Which, naturally, brings on one more pang of homesickness every time he thinks about it. For most people, working this high on a ladder would be enough to deter letting the mind wander, but a few feet off the ground really isn't enough to even faze him anymore.]
