He puts a hand to his chin in puzzlement for a moment, then abruptly flings it down to shove it into his pocket and attempts to do so with the other before realizing he's holding the packet in it and cannot. He quickly tries to cover up the fumble by simply holding the packet against his side, and when he speaks, the tone is warm and a little awkward in that trying-to-be-a-cool-dad kind of way.
