Shinju nods. "Yeah. I was in a kendo club outside school, and I went to the local sports center to swim with friends sometimes," he explains, "so I usually had plenty to go out and do during the week."

He picks out a last piece from the box before sitting back and munching on it.

"But you know, you don't really join clubs because you're good at something--you join them because you want to learn and get involved. I'm sure if you found something, the people there would be glad to teach you things."
