She didn't notice when they had stopped singing, figuring it was just another interlude. Soaked through, she was sure they would both catch dreadful colds. Not that it really mattered at the moment. Slowly, her sobs lessened and she felt herself empty of emotion. It was a relief.
When Junpei pulled away, she still held onto his shirt lightly, rubbing some of the water off her face. Hearing him speak, and not sing, she looked up at him with wide eyes.
"...Jun...Junpei...?"
They sounded so hoarse! Singing as much as they did would do that, she supposed. Bowing her head, she continued to hold onto Junpei's shirt, staring at their shoes.
"...I'm not sorry..." she finally said, looking up at him, her eyes and face red. She smiled wearily. "...it's better to cry about her together...o-or sing about her I guess, then to just...do nothing."
