Shinies make everything better, probably.
Who: Shinju Gouka and anyone who cares to bother him
Where: Jewelry stores, coffee shops, out and about.
When: 22nd, all day
Summary: Shinju's been in a bad mood, so he looks for a necklace to make himself feel better.
Warnings: Possible mentions of tragic backstory to his friends??
Shinju had realized some things lately. Some things about the date, about how long it had been since he left his world, and about the things he was missing.
As a result, saying he'd been in a bad mood was an understatement. But he hadn't been depressed, as one might expect from him. He'd been surly, almost angry--a far cry from his normal personality. He'd done his best to keep up his usual smiling facade to his friends, but all too often in the past couple of weeks it had been slipping. He might have been seen glaring at the book from home he was given on Christmas or sitting outside the shack where he worked, staring at the river as if irritated.
But today he decided upon a goal. The twenty-second of January was the date in his world two weeks prior to his arrival in Saeng Seong. Two weeks since he made a drastic decision and somehow made it through. It was a huge turning point for him; perhaps realizing that made him want to do something about his current mood.
He needed a necklace. To anyone else, it would seem a strange thing to seek out with the sort of determination he had. But to him it was something much more significant than just a piece of jewelry. It was a reminder, and a gift. Something he'd lost and wanted back. He wouldn't dream of replacing it, but he needed the same sort of weight on his chest--it had been comforting when he needed it the most.
He spent the day looking through the jewelry stores available in the city, hoping to find something similar to what he had. He gravitated towards silver and garnet, hoping to see something familiar, but he didn't seem to be having much luck. In fact, he could be seen with a frown on his face fairly often. It didn't appear he was having much luck with finding what he wanted.
In between his browsing, he found a nearby coffee shop where he sat down and got a warm drink, idly staring at the first page of his book--he started to carry it with him often since he got it--as he tried to wind down. He still had some searching to do; it might end up being a longer day than he first thought.
[ooc: Feel free to bug him at the jewelry store, coffee shop, or just as he's walking around! He'll be out all day.]
