Shinjiro parts an eye when he hears a familiar voice, uttering a sleepy 'huh' and staring at the person in front of him for a few seconds as consciousness catches back up with him. When it finally does, he stretches, scratches his chin, and makes sure he's not talking to a complete stranger.
