"Wh-..." she started--then let the response drop as she listened to the rest.
Yukari wasn't really sure what to make of everything her friend said. All of it was just...so far out there. Sure, after everything Ryoji had told them, she was a lot more open minded to certain things. She forced her thoughts to slow down--as well as her her breathing to steady. She'd just focus on one part at a time. There was no point in- in freaking out. Seriously, it'd do her NO good, "I'd ask if this is a joke, but I doubt you could think up something this elaborate." Yeah, so, she was masking her nerves through harsh words--what of it?
Anyway, her expression probably gave away that her heart wasn't in that remark. In fact, it immediately fell as she looked to the side, hand raising to her chest. Something had just...dawned on her.
"You said...Shinjiro senpai, too?" Because, as it stood, she had yet to see him.
Even the mentioning of this place being weird, time-wise wasn't enough. It was still a lot to hear that your friend that you had watched die...was alive and well. She, along with the rest of SEES, had mourned him. They'd had time to come to terms with him being gone. So, on top of being thrust into some strange world...there was that? She was doing her best to remain calm, but, "This is..." she starts, then pauses, before, "How is any of this even possible...?"
For someone who'd known her for years, it was likely clear just how much she was struggling with the whole...remaining perfectly calm thing. She was doing her very best, though.
