He sounded like there was some unfinished business back home-- that kind of thing she understood well. But she couldn't imagine spending seven months over here, waking up every day knowing that Serah and Hope and the rest needed her. Sure, people have told her that time was somehow stopped in their home worlds, but that didn't change the fact that she was here, and they were there.

But unlike him, she didn't share the sentiment, about helping them and all. People always wanted her for something, and she was just done with it. It's just the only way out that she could see right now.
