It's like suddenly being shot back in time. Her senpai is sitting there, talking...cursing...
...and it's almost like he was never shot by Takaya in a valiant effort to save Ken. Almost. Her memory knows better. So does her heart. Her face tenses and she looks to the side a moment, hand moving toward her chest, almost as though bracing herself against the cold, hard facts she's being faced against, "Senpai, you're- here, too, huh?"
That had almost been an awful cover up. In place of the word "here", she had almost wanted to put "alive". Almost. She can't bring herself to do something like that, though. Because...obviously, he's...alive. Junpei had mentioned that he was--that they were all from different time points, too. So...in the end, this is really just another slap to the face on the reality of this place, "Well, Junpei did say you were. Guess...this is still a lot to take in, is all."
She forces just a bit of a smile as she turns her head to look off to the side a moment. There's no point in bringing up her version of October, so she's going to pretend she doesn't even know about it. More for his sake, than hers.
