Not to mention the rumours which had reached Altea of the formation of the "Akaneian Empire" with an old friend deeming himself Emperor? And the other rumours, of revolt and Altea's knights being conscripted to put down the common folk that rebelled?

Ordering knights and paladins to fell farmers and villagers absolutely not him. He'd dismissed the rumours as soon as he'd heard. His response was mumbled, small. Almost distant. "I see... that is a relief, to know there will be no spilling of blood. If I have to be here, I wish to help, but not to harm anyone, enemy to this world or not..."
