"Not so much as presents, our kidnappers need us alive to generate energy for them. Giving us a comfortable place to stay definitely helps with that." Steve is a little more bitter about Saeng Seong than he used to be, but being brought here twice now with his memories being messed with contributed to that. "But... it is good that everyone gets a roof over their heads. Won't argue with that." Steve doesn't want to be a complete downer around the new guy. The kidnappers have done something wrong, but they haven't hurt anyone further. He will give them that.

Gordin's enthusiasm helps put Steve in a better mood though. "I'm not too bad at close combat myself, be happy to help if you need any advice." He sparred with a couple of individuals here already and Steve is more than happy to help someone that really wants to learn.
