Allumette gave a shout of surprise, but smoothed down the chocobo's neck to his back. Admittedly, she was more used to a saddle, but Allu was more trained to ride than Kanji probably was--especially when she was just light enough to carry. She fisted her hands into his feathers, but didn't grip or tug them. For now, she'd just see if he was trained to be ridden at all.
With a call over her shoulder, she grinned. "I take that back! He's rather impulsive, isn't he?"
She stroked his neck all the same. "And I hadn't meant Clive when I spoke beforehand. Cloudline is smaller to accommodate for my size. It's awkward to steer a steed many times larger than you are. Is that worrisome for you--his growth?"
