"They started everything though," Spinister huffs somewhat resentfully, although his mood immediately lightens into curiosity the moment they reach the apartment door.

Being Spinister of course meant that nothing about this is about to go as planned. For one, he doesn't really understand that the keycard was meant to open the door. Secondly, he's only had to ever deal with automatic sliding doors or broken automatic sliding doors.

As such, the first thing he tries to do is use the door handle to slide the door open- resulting in said handle coming clean off the door.
