Kit followed at James' heels, having to take at least two steps for every one of his in order to keep up. "OK," she said. "I'm good a finding hiding places, so maybe I could help out." From the tone of his reply it sounded as though he planned on finding a spot where he could watch without being seen himself.

"Course," Kit said thoughtfully as they walked, "it might be a little bit harder to hide you, since you're so much bigger than me, but we should still be able to find a good place."
