If that offer was meant to get Tony's attention, it succeeded. He studied Barnes closely and took a sip of his coffee--for once, he fully believed the assassin. True, it would've been in his best interest to lie, but Barnes didn't sound like he was aiming to persuade. Really, if anything he was understating, just throwing out a simple fact rather than attempting to bargain. Tony had another sip of coffee.
"Great, make me write my own list of demands," he replied a bit snidely. "I'd complain but I do like having it my own way."
He set the coffee mug down on the counter heavily and folded his arms with a loud breath.
"Alright, Burger King, here's what I want. An iced coffee, a hero sandwich--for obvious reasons--for you to slap yourself in the face, a doughnut, a soldering gun. And you gotta let me put in a signal jammer so I can shut off your arm if you attack me. Well. Again."
