Friend? Tony looked at Steve's apparent friend dubiously. But when the guy turned to look back at Rogers with the first expression he'd seen that didn't ooze murderous intent, Tony's brows knit together.
Wait a minute.
He eyed Rogers for half a second before moving away to flip through a few sheets of paper in a large stack further down the breakfast bar. The super soldier had managed to contain his maniac friend thus far, and Tony had no reason to believe he wouldn't even when the engineer turned his back. Not finding what he was searching for, he unceremoniously knocked the top 3/4th of the stack on the floor and fished through the last chunk.
"I figured out," he explained, without looking up from his search. "Why that name sounded familiar--ah!"
He triumphantly held up a sheet of paper with--now slightly smudged but entirely recognizable--sketches by a much younger Steve of two people he'd said he "admired." Tony wasn't quite sure why he'd kept the paper, but now he was very glad he had.
