At least Tony seemed to drop the birthday topic for now, for which he was grateful for. He didn't doubt for a second that it was going to come up at a later time, but Steve would be in a better mood to talk about it at least. Hopefully. Ideally. He couldn't really promise anything.

But for now, he stayed quiet so that Tony could work on the arm in relative silence. It didn't look like Bucky wanted to talk anymore and that was fine with him for the moment.
