Freya meets the handshake and the offer of his name with a small smile that's a little more sincere than just straight politeness.

Although aware of the disagreeable circumstances, the knight is glad to meet a new friendly face. She takes what cheer she can get between the more serious issues.

"They have certainly lied about other things to keep the local populace content, if the rebel group is to be believed," she remarks. "But I do believe them regarding contact. I have felt its effects myself in a few different ways."
