A still visibly-bandaged (but thankfully not limping) soldier, clad in a leather jacket as usual, had come to size up the newcomers so he'd know if he needed to keep an eye on anyone. There was also the off-chance that someone familiar might have shown up, despite it being extremely small, but it wasn't like he had anything to lose by showing up, so there he was.

He had his mismatched hands at his sides, metal fingers visible from under his glove, flesh ones from under a few bandages, and his posture was still stiff. He may not have been as on edge as the time he first was in this room, but the fact was that he was in a place full of strangers who may have had abilities that could match his own, and who also may have been understandably angry with their situation. So he wasn't exactly relaxed.

His eyes eventually fell on the boy from several feet away and he frowned almost immediately.

They brought in more kids. Of course they did. As he thought about what he'd like to do to the people responsible, he continued to watch Czeslaw, unaware that the angry look on his face combined with the staring might unsettle someone. He was still working on the whole social thing, and he was practically conditioned to be intimidating.
