Sort of dead? How can someone be sort of dead? Wondering about this distracts Diarmuid from Kit's story for a little bit, but he pushes his curiosity away soon enough so that he doesn't miss anything. After all, considering all the weird stuff that happens on his world, why can't something equally weird happen on her world?

"Wow! She sounds like a druid and a warrior all wrapped up in one person! Sometimes warriors are bards and fighters, but they usually aren't druids and fighters..." Considering how long it takes for a person to become a druid, there really isn't time to learn anything else, "I really wish I could have seen her run up the walls like that. I am fast and I like being in the air. It would be so neat if I could learn how to do that!"
