She nodded at the notion of both weapons being scary. "I haven't seen anybody with laser guns around here," Kit said. "At least, not that they've used. And it takes skill to use a whip without hurting yourself, so unless somebody comes here who knows how, we probably shouldn't try to do it ourselves or anything.
