Glimpse of Nature

Irene is, to no surprise, the main person directing traffic at the entrance. Though busy, she seems to be in a particularly good mood, all smiles and cheerful greetings. She's primarily directing visitors to the doctors, but she's also happy to answer any questions they might have - after all, that's her job.
Eventually, the path breaks off into a side path, that leads to a neat, though now rusted from neglect, gated entrance. The sign in the center of the gate simply reads "Dog Park", with a small inscription underneath it listing citizens who donated money to the park long ago.
There's also a second sign to the left, listing basic rules of the park:

• Keep animals leashed when entering or leaving the park.
• Watch your pets carefully.
• Not bring any pets that will endanger the safety of other animals or people
• Not smoke or drink within the park.
Park is open from dawn to dusk. Have fun!

Though there aren't many buildings in this area, there is one in particular that takes up a lot of space. It looks neglected, as many places in this area do, but it's obviously one of the more modern, recent buildings in the city, obviously built for function without much flair for design, though it manages to avoid being ugly. On closer inspection, there are signs clearly indicating that this place is a gym...and if that weren't enough, walking around the building will reveal a gated outside area with various pieces of sports equipment and marked areas for running races or laps.
It's hard to get a good look at the places outside, however, and there's no opening in the gate. However, the front door of the gym is unlocked, and no one will stop anybody who wants to enter and see what's inside.

Located just a short walk away from the gym are two of these large structures filled with colorful balls, with two large covers thrown nearby that have obviously been protecting them from the elements up until now.
There are two - one with a sign that says "For Kids", and the other with a sign that says "For Adults".
That's it. That's all it is.
And there's nothing stopping you from giving into your inner child's demand to jump in.

The road through this area eventually leads to another clearing, this one with a small pond at the bottom of the hill. The grass is growing stronger and greener here in most places, and there are quite a few trees as well. There's a small park close by with a lot of playing equipment for children, like slides, a swing set, a seasaw, and more.
In fact, this area looks like it would have been a good place for children and families to gather. It would be perfect for a picnic, assuming the weather was good.

On the other side of the area is another large building, but much more ornate. The sloped roof is detailed with tiny designs, hard to make out from the ground, and the dark wooden double doors have splashes of color in the upper corners, in swirling circular patterns - deep blue in the upper right, white in the upper left, moss green in the lower right, and red-orange in the lower left. They look they they've had to be repainted countless times...in fact, the whole building is obviously very old, though very sturdy. Some may recognize it as being similar to a the outside of a Buddhist temple, though there are no statues of clearings around the building. However, it is notable that the grass and even a few flowers are growing very strongly here.
It's hard to tell what might be inside, but the doors are unlocked for anyone who is curious.

[Well that's just not fair. How could America not stare longingly at the ball pit, especially with that "For Adults" sign hanging right there? What was the last time he had been in one? Okay, that time he had sneaked into the ball pit on the kids playplace at BK hadn't been that long ago. Still. A ball pit made for adults.
It was hard not to declare Saeng Seong a great city right then and there. A little self reminder about the whole kidnapping thing and keeping secrets brought him back to reality and he stepped away from the ball pit.

[This had to be the best looking building America had seen in Saeng Seong so far. It looked more colorful, more vibrant and healthy than many of the run down city buildings. The flowers nearby were an especially welcome sight. He hadn't seen much nature for far longer than he was used to. Even for a city Saeng Seong could have used some more gardens like this one.

[He'll probably have a difficult time seeing until he steps inside and opens the door completely, as there is no electric light within the building. However, there is obviously another light source to the right, likely a window, and he may also be able to see a narrow hallway to the left.

[The front room of the temple is quite large, particularly for a small child, though it's not unwelcoming. The wood floor may creak as he steps inside, and the room will be darker if he shuts he door behind him - there's no electricity inside. There is, however, a window to the right that brightens the room. If he looks left, he'll see the start of a narrow hallway, and some light is coming in from there as well, though it's source can't be made out.
The room itself is mostly empty, with the only objects being four small, dusty candles in each corner, and an unlit red lantern hanging from the ceiling.

[Freya wasn't one to miss out on an opportunity to explore, and she'd thankfully found herself allowed to enter the district. Though she did plan to examine as much of it as she could eventually, her first stop was the gated park.

[Curiosity had brought him towards the newly opened district, and though he hadn't been expecting to be let in, he figured he might as well take advantage of it and look around. There was so much he wanted to look at just from a first glance, but he eventually decided to take a look at the gym. He wasn't so much in need of exercise as he wanted to do the things he used to, so his first goal was to look for a pool that would hopefully be a little more private than the river.

[He can't see much from the doorway, so with a deep breath and some mental reassurance that this would be like the great archaeological adventures he always craved, he stepped inside, closing the door as quietly as he could manage behind him.

[America turns to look back at whoever is speaking. When he spots Lloyd he grins.]

[Fortunately, because Diarmuid is from a time before electricity, the lack of it in this building really doesn't bother him. His eyes quickly adjust so that he can pick out some of the details of the room. The patterns, the candles, their placements all seem to reinforce to him that this is a holy place. However, since it doesn't feel unwelcoming he continues to carefully explore, his soft steps take him over to each painting. The boy looks at each one, bowing to it before his feet finally take him to the hallway.
Part of him wants to call out since if there is light, there is probably someone with the light and he doesn't want to surprise them. Still, it seems wrong to raise his voice in this special place, so in the end, instead of saying anything, he starts silently down the hallway toward the light.]

As much as he was comfortable in the city areas, it was when Yu stepped into this area that he felt rather peaceful. It was like he could get lost in the setting for hours with nothing but his thoughts and the quiet around him. Noticing the playground area close by, it reminded him of Nanako and his uncle as he suddenly pictured the three of them enjoy a Sunday afternoon without any worries or cares of the world; it would be just them.

Don't worry Man it's not that deep! They let little kids into these things all the time- trust me, you can't drown. Even if you were to hide under all the balls, they're too light to crush you and there's air down there.

[Upon closer inspection, she'll be able to see that there's a man walking out the door, carrying a large kennel outside, then placing it on an area that's been covered by a heavy plastic sheet. In fact, there are several empty kennels lined up here, along with mops, towels, and other cleaning supplies arranged outside the door. He's leaving the door open, walking in and out frequently as he arranges this and that.
The larger sign on the building itself has been taken down, and there's a clear black spot across the top of the building where it should be, but there is a smaller sign out in front, clearly meant as a temporary replacement.
