The changing colors and flickering lights
Who: Everyone!
Where: District 4
When: October 25th to October 28th
Summary: Ghosts and the like are still lurking about, but the citizens of Saeng Seong (native and guest alike) have never let a few hauntings chase away the possibility of celebrating a holiday!
Warnings: Occasional things going "boo", strange-colored food groups, and gun violence.
There is an old saying that whenever life hits rock bottom, the only way to go is up. It is likely the current mantra of the locals as they have done all that is humanly (or, well, whatever species they are) possible to deck out the city in as many red, yellow, green and white lanterns as they could. Some a kind of paper, some stained glass, and is that a few orange ones with weird faces hanging amidst the more traditional variety?
There is a stage for dancing upon and contests galore! Perhaps you've come for those, or maybe just the free food. Either way, this may just be what Dr. Mai prescribed to the unlucky ones to have a spirit or demon follow them around...
(OOC: Hello, players! We are in the process of posting these per day, so bear with us as we set this entry up. There are many stands surrounding the dance stage that are unoccupied, so if your character thinks up of something fun for everyone, feel free to make your own stand too!)

I only know because I heard the answer from father. He's the smart one!
Now it is your turn. Do you have a riddle to tell me?
no subject
[He scratches his head.]
Thirty white horses on a red hill. First they champ, then they stamp, then they stand still. Even I don't know the answer to this one!
no subject
[Diarmuid tilts his head curiously as he repeats the riddle.]
That sounds more like a description than a riddle. I'm suppose to guess what is being described, right? I'm sure the answer isn't actually 'horses!' That would be too easy.

[Diarmuid sighs.]
Did you guess anything else that was wrong?

[Diarmuid taps at his mouth, thinking of what else the riddle could mean.]
Could the answer be knights? Knights in white armor?
no subject
Yeah, maybe! That's a good answer!
no subject
[Diarmuid pouts slightly.]
Somehow, I don't think that is the right answer. I wonder what else it could be... Oh! I know! Maybe we should both ask our friends and see if anyone has a better answer!

[Diarmuid bounces on his feet and then he points happily.]
Look! We are back. Do you want to split up and look for people to ask the riddle to?
no subject
[There's a pause as he holds out Grey's leash toward Diarmuid.]
I don't know how much Grey will want to be away from you, and I can't hold White with a hurt hand. Can you play with both of them for a little while?
no subject
I will watch them. You go ask people the riddle! If anyone comes near me, I will ask them too. Find lots of good answers, okay?
good place to end?
[He gives Diarmuid a big hug.]
Then I'll go off now. See you later, brother.
Looks like it!
Good luck, brother!
