Who's that pokemon?
Who: Cu Chulainn and Diarmuid
Where: Apartment 3
When: After 4/12
Summary: Cu Chulainn meets the new pokemon
[Diarmuid had gotten his hands on a big, strange egg. Cu Chulainn wasn't too sure what the egg was, even though Diarmuid had told him it was a pokemon egg. He had still tried to eat it at first, before Diarmuid stopped him and confiscated the egg. For several hours on end, Diarmuid had taken care of it, but it showed no sign of hatching. Cu Chulainn was starting to get a little annoyed at it.]
[Then at night, it had suddenly hatched into a strange creature, almost like a cross between a horse and a fish. Now, Cu Chulainn was glad that he hadn't tried to eat it. Of course, it was so tiny and delicate that Diarmuid did most of the handling. But Cu Chulainn was excited about getting to play with it in the morning.]
[Come morning, Cu Chulainn woke up late to fine his brother and the new pokemon gone. Not knowing where his brother had gone or what he was doing with the egg, Cu Chulainn sulks, lying down on his stomach in the living room. The puppies, first White and then Grey, clamber onto him, forming a dogpile. There they remain, not moving except for the puppies occasionally pawing at each other's faces. Only when they hear the squeaking of the door do they turn around.]

[He holds out his hand, showing that he has a blister on a finger.]

[Diarmuid leans forward and puts a light kiss near the blister.]
There, does that help? Or do we need to go find a druid to make it better?

Yeah, its a little better.
[He presses the towel to his hands again.]
...Can we wait until after we eat the honey cake to find the druid?

[Diarmuid doesn't think his brother's burn is too bad. He remembers one of the people at his father's getting a burn like that from a candle once, but they always had a druid around so he looked at it anyway.]
Maybe we should go find the druid first if you think you need one...

But if we go, what would we do with Lir and White and Grey?

I could go find someone and you could stay with them. You could play with Lir and the puppies while you wait for me to come back! Or the puppies could stay here and Lir could come with us.

...Can't we take the puppies too? And then we can all go look for the druid together.

[Diarmuid grabs one last towel to put over the cake so nothing gets into it while they are gone and it is cooling.]
What do you say? If we go now, we should be back in no time and then there will be cool,delicious cake waiting for us!

[Cu Chulainn puts his arms around his brother in a hug, though he has to be careful not to let his blistered hand touch anything.]
Because I have to make sure you don't get lost or anything.

Then we will all go together. Just make sure you hold the leash in your not hurt hand! I will have you take Grey since he is calmer than White.
[It might be a little tricky to handle White and Lir, but Lir is pretty calm, and hopefully White will be good too.]

[He goes to get Grey's leash. However, when he tries to clip it on Grey, he finds that it's a little hard with only one hand.]

[Diarmuid grabs White's leash and then runs over to help his brother. After a moment, not only does he have Grey leashed up, he has White ready too. That just leaves Lir.]
All right, Lir. Time to get out of the water. Lets go out on another trip!
[Lir seems kind of torn on going with them and staying to play in the water. This becomes clear when he starts swimming around in circles in the sink.]

[Cu Chulainn peers over at Lir.]
Come on, Lir, don't you wanna meet a druid?

Lir, we can stop at the lake again on the way back. How does that sound?
[That causes the pokemon to stop swimming in circles and start bobbing up and down happily. It looks like he likes this plan!]
Is that okay with you, brother?

Yeah! I wanna play in the lake too! Maybe we can even have a swimming contest!

[Diarmuid finds a yet another towel to wrap Lir in and then pulls the pokemon out of the sink. Lir blows a bubble at him and then settles happily into the boy's arms. After that, Diarmuid gathers White's leash and turns to his brother.]
Ready to go?

Yes, hurry up and open the door for me, brother!

[Diarmuid takes one more look around the kitchen to make sure that everything shut off or put away that needs to be and then runs over to the door to open it.]
Off we go to find a druid!

Find a druid...and then go swimming!

[It's a long shot, but who knows?]
And then there will be cake when we come home!

Yes, I do wanna meet them! Let's hurry so we can find them before they leave!
[By now, he's too distracted to think about his cake.]
