Sorry... there uh. Wasn't anyone around here. Figured I'd just sit.
[He rubs at the back of his neck.]
This your place?

[She smiles faintly, nodding.]
I am the acting high priestess, so you might say that.

[He blinks, like he's just remembered something.]
Oh. I just never saw you until now. [He rubs at the back of his neck.] Don't blame you though. Been kinda crazy here, lately huh? What with the weird... messages and stuff.

[WOW this is awkward.]
No? Maybe you can explain stuff to me then, 'cause I'm all kinds of confused. What was all that about?

... Some former residents of the city are none too pleased with the city government and how they're running things. I suppose it was only a matter of time before they spoke out.

He said somethin' about a bomb and radiation fallout. Now, those weren't his exact words, but that's how I got around to understandin' him. Somethin' blew up, and now stuff outside's screwed up.
There any kinda truth to that? So I'm clear, here.

It is an appropriate analogy, from what I can see. However, it was no atomic bomb that detonated.
[In short: yes, there is some truth to that. Rhea's gaze falls in the direction of the river.]
One hundred years ago, one of Cyntia's team's experiments went awry. The resulting explosions unleashed a slumbering evil that no one dares speak of for fear of it growing stronger. Some have willingly tried to forget that in order to not feed the dark flames that fuels what aides the miasma afflicting this world. Others live in a city-imposed exile yet still try to keep the miasma at bay.
[She sighs, turning to face Ironhide once more.]
I will admit that of late my memory has not been the best, but I cannot help but see that for all the disagreements both sides are after a similar goal.

[Yeah, he's not the brightest spark on the planet, and he's aware of it. He'd tried, though.]
[There's a very good reason why he told everything to Nautica.]
An'... all that has something' to do with why we're here? This evil and the... miasma stuff? 'Cause he sounded real mad at people livin' in the city.
[He squints at her.]
... Y'know. Memory problems seem real common around here.

[She smiles a bit sheepishly.]
I wish it weren't. Though just because we cannot recall, does not mean it is gone forever.

[More things to tell Nautica, later.]
Yeah, well. In some cases it kinda does. [He pauses.] ... but if you got a way to fix stuff like that, I know some bots who could use it.

I will consult my colleagues to see if there is anything we can do. It may take some time, but...
[She wants to make things right. After all, she was responsible for them being here to begin with.]
