Thank you, Yuna. Despite how... sanctioned this all feels, I don't think it's best to go wandering around alone. [ Which Nanoha will find out is more distracting than anything. At least this way they have Raising Heart on alert for any sudden dangers.

Elsewhere on the shore, he might be able to pick out a splunking sound as something hits the water. Followed by a lighter sound; sort of like someone is working their way up from throwing rocks to skipping them at a surprising rate.
M'gann is standing nearby, with her normal, Earth-girl feet actually in the water so she can feel the sand underfoot, and how cool the pond is on her skin. She has a collection of rocks in one hand, throwing them in a way that she THINKS is close to how you're supposed to skip rocks...And then just giving them a little telekinetic help across the water so they hop a few times before sinking.

[The man is making quite a bit of noise, actually, setting down another kennel and trying to space it away from the others. On closer inspection they're all wet, as if they've been recently cleaned - or, at least, as if the cleaning process has been started.
He does look up when he hears Freya's voice, though, obviously startled.]

[It's dark and dusty inside, to no surprise - that door hasn't been open in awhile - but there are windows and, if they look for it, they'll find a light switch to their right, before the information desk.
The desk is very modern-looking, and separates a small office from the area where people enter. There are a few computers on the desk, turned off, along with a chair, but otherwise just a lot of empty places that look like they should be full of paperwork. There are also empty sleeves for pamphlets lined up outside.
The entrance is full of banners and plaques, with various spots, years, and rankings - first place, second place, grand champions, and so on - from what seem to be various schools in the city and local leagues.
Beyond that, the gym opens up into a wider area, full of various types of equipment, but it's hard to see more without going into the main part of the building.]

It's hard to see much of what it leads to without going all the way down, though as he gets closer he might be able to make out that it leads to a wooden porch of some sort, and that the slope roof hangs down enough to be seen over the entrance..

[For several moments, Diarmuid just stands in awe of the beauty that is surrounding him. He notices the sign out of the corner of his eye, but since he can't read much yet, he just files it away in his mind as another beautiful detail of this amazingly beautiful place. And then the movement in the pond catches his attention and he races down the steps toward the pond so curious to get a better look that he doesn't even think about all the warnings he's been given about staying away from water since he can't swim.
Fortunately, he stops at the edge of the pond and doesn't try to enter it. Instead, he just stands there watching the 'ribbons' move under the water. It's so peaceful and the closest he has felt to home while still being in the city.]

[She isn't quite sure what the kennels are for yet, but they must have some important purpose if they're being laid out so carefully. All the more reason to offer her help.]

[America tries to open both doors as he passes by but to his disappointment they don't budge. He notes the library sign. Perhaps he could try back again later- a library in a place like this begged for some investigation.

He really hasn't noticed how people are supposed to be skipping rocks so Yu just assumed that's the way to do it. But it looked like fun.

It was from behind her but the boy was friendly enough not to cause any panic.

Not only was it small but it must be kind of sacred given that a torii in in the area. Or at least back home it was considered sacred and seen at all the temples and shrines. A part of him was wondering if it would be alright to proceed further. But then again, it was in a park and it must have been meant to be visited.

[ Nanoha is looking around with equal curiosity, not fully sure what she expected, but bracing herself all the same. That grip might be a bit on the tight side as a result, in case she needed to react quickly to any sudden changes. ]
"Oh-!" The sudden speech does take her by surprise...But it's not the jolting, leap-into-the-air-out-of-reflex type. Instead M'gann turns around with a few splashes, keeping her feet in the water and mostly on the ground. (With just a little bit of floating down near the pads of her feet and in her stomach, to keep her balance right.) She's already relaxing when she finds who spoke to her, and has a smile in place.
"Thanks! It's actually my first time trying this; skipping stones, I mean."

"Hey!" [Comes a voice from nearby, once Yuna gets near something that does in fact look suspiciously like a real, well kept basketball court.] "Catch!"
[Followed by an orange ball getting thrown through the air. Close by, there's a girl who has switched back to her caucasian skin, standing in her sports gear with a hopeful and expectant expression. She's pretty sure she just did that throw right; and that's how you're supposed to invite someone to another game of basketball.]
