The changing colors and flickering lights
Who: Everyone!
Where: District 4
When: October 25th to October 28th
Summary: Ghosts and the like are still lurking about, but the citizens of Saeng Seong (native and guest alike) have never let a few hauntings chase away the possibility of celebrating a holiday!
Warnings: Occasional things going "boo", strange-colored food groups, and gun violence.
There is an old saying that whenever life hits rock bottom, the only way to go is up. It is likely the current mantra of the locals as they have done all that is humanly (or, well, whatever species they are) possible to deck out the city in as many red, yellow, green and white lanterns as they could. Some a kind of paper, some stained glass, and is that a few orange ones with weird faces hanging amidst the more traditional variety?
There is a stage for dancing upon and contests galore! Perhaps you've come for those, or maybe just the free food. Either way, this may just be what Dr. Mai prescribed to the unlucky ones to have a spirit or demon follow them around...
(OOC: Hello, players! We are in the process of posting these per day, so bear with us as we set this entry up. There are many stands surrounding the dance stage that are unoccupied, so if your character thinks up of something fun for everyone, feel free to make your own stand too!)

Come on, Bro, hurry up.
no subject
Good White! Slowly. We don't want anyone to get hurt.
no subject
Yeah, White. Listen to him. Diarmuid is the smart one.
no subject
No, I'm not that smart. I just don't want anyone to get hurt! Puppies included!

[His voice drops to a whisper.]
But I think Mama is smarter than all of them.
no subject
Of course, she is! Mothers are always smarter than fathers. Everyone knows that!
no subject
Is it like that with your mother too?
no subject
[Diarmuid giggles happily, thinking of his family back home.]
Father even admits it sometimes, though the others laugh at him when he does.

no subject
He is! Father is very brave and he doesn't care if the others laugh at him. Mother is always so happy when she hears him say that!
no subject
So even God parents are the same. Do they do things the same way as other parents too? Do you guys talk about riddles together?
no subject
Father even sings riddles sometimes! The others say that is unfair because it makes them harder to figure out. I don't understand why they say that. I don't have more trouble figuring them out. Well...the ones I can figure out. I don't get them all, but not because of Father's singing!
no subject
[Grey and White bark in quick succession, as if they're also curious about the riddles.]
no subject
[Diarmuid falls quiet for a moment and then starts to sing.]
I'm the part of the bird that's not in the sky.
I can swim in the ocean and yet remain dry.
What am I?
no subject
[He scratches his head.]
The bird's beak?
no subject
No! That would be up in the sky with the bird. Try again! Don't give up!

[Diarmuid shakes his head.]
It's not really part of the bird. And everyone has one. Try and think differently!
no subject
[He pouts.]
Birds don't have clothes or play hurley! They don't have the things that everyone has!
no subject
[A bird suddenly flies overhead and Diarmuid's eyes widen excitedly. He points at the bird's shadow as it moves along the ground.]
Look! Look! See!
no subject
[Suddenly, understanding dawns in his eyes.]
Oh! So that's what it is!
no subject
[Diarmuid claps his hands, jumping up and down excitedly.]
It's not flying with the bird and it won't get wet if the bird goes swimming! It's a good riddle, right?
