When: November 23rd to November 30th
Summary: Seasons change, and in a dramatic way!
Warnings: 100% chance of heavy rainfall, and a good chance of musical numbers.

There's a definite change in the seasons.

In between the initial rain showers the locals are preparing for the change in the weather, making sure their roofs are sturdy and mended, windows are closed and secured, supplies are ready...Those who help out, or have helped in prior events might even find a care package prepared and left in the lobby of their apartment, or outside their door. (The contents being a few days worth of simple food; rice gimbap, some fruits, etc. And a few candles as well.) If asked, they say that the seasons are shifting, and the rainy season will be here in full force soon.

...And sure enough if a few days, on the morning of the 23rd, the weather DOES shift, and those clouds that have been gathering and sprinkling finally let loose with all that stored up rain. It falls in light drizzles, heavy torrents, gentle misting curtains, but most key of all it NEVER lets up. There's always some precipitation going.

That said, it might be good to head out with an umbrella when heading out. There's something about some of these storms that's odd; maybe it's just the mood that comes with the rain, the rhythm of the drops on the roofs and the ground, but...There's something almost musical about it at times. Sort of reminds one of a song, in fact!

Despite the rain, Shinjiro is out in it. Curled in a corner with a broken umbrella waiting for the storm to let up, Shinjiro watches the downpour and lets his mind wander.

Had somebody been playing music? And why does he all of a sudden feel like singing? Nobody's around, so it seems as good a time as ever.

Unfortunately for the two of them, Naoto had been passing by to try and buy a good quality umbrella from a store as opposed to these broken ones in the streets. She didn't even see Shinjiro, only hear him just above the downpour, but--

You're gonna have to mow the lawn
Do the dishes, make your bed
You're gonna have to go to school
Until you're seventeen

It's gonna seem about three times as long as that--

And her hand slapped over her mouth, looking around. W-what was she doing?!

Shinjiro perks up to the familiar voice continuing the tune. He's never heard the song before in his life, and yet here he is, singing along without question, and that detective boy is joining in as well.

The lyrics are...realistic? But way to hit home with the mention of shooting guns and...killing...

Oh, so that's who was the original singer; Aragaki! She looked over at him, unimpressed as she continued to sing; and what a vulgar song this was! Did he do something to her? Was creating musical numbers his Persona's ability or some such nonsense? You'd think it would be better suited for Rise-chan...

When you get back from the war."

Well it was a little true, work in Japan WAS stressful... and PTSD was a thing, but still, why was she singing?!

"Santa Claus does not exist, and there's no Easter Bunny!" Shinjiro continues on, finding himself holding his broken umbrella dramatically. "You'll find out when you grow up that Big Bird isn't funny! Aha-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaaa~"

She joined in with Shinjiro on the laughing, but found herself taking off her hat, holding it out theatrically is she continued on.

Ugh, this song was not something she actually WANTED to sing, ever! But Aragaki was acting nothing like his usual self either!

Shinjiro definitely did not want to be singing about this. Who writes a song about stuff like this? Was it satirical or serious?

She hoped it was satirical. Maybe American?

"And then you're gonna die-ie-ie-ie-ie~!"

Oh thank goodness, was it over?! She looked up at Aragaki, pure confusion and embarrassment on her face, wanting to ask him a million questions but afraid of what was going to pop out.
