Event: Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster Snow Goons

She nodded in response to his question. Thankfully she'd discovered that her intuition regarding the monsters' similarities to the sand golems of Cleyra was correct.
"I'm not certain of their origins, but I know those stones act as a core for the larger ones. Once they're destroyed, the golems are as well."

Junpei's played enough RPGs, he knows the score!
"But the little ones are just runts; easy to take out and not too dangerous if you got a weapon or somethin'. Even someone not super combat experienced would be alright... maybe."
Having collected the pieces, Junpei turned properly to the Dragoon.
"So uh... any ideas what to do next? I've just been keeping an eye out for friends or anyone in trouble."
no subject
"As have I. I was helping a friend fight them, earlier, but we decided it was best to spread out and tell these monsters' weaknesses to everyone we could and help those who need it. The more that know how to defeat them, the more likely that all of us can get rid of them."
Just fighting everything off was an option, but Freya liked to have a little more of a plan than just plain brute force.
"How many have you fought so far? Have you found any others who've been fighting?"
no subject
"That's a good point-- a friend of mine can do that, uh, use her powers to find out what an enemies' weakness is, I mean. I was looking for her-- and the rest of my team."
Pausing for a moment, Junpei counted on his fingers.
"Uh, I've taken care of a ton of the little ones and about... 4, 5 bigger ones?"
He hadn't seen anything bigger than the one he'd just taken care of...

She could at least attempt to help him fight until he found his teammates before she departed again to make sure there were no others who needed help.

He glanced back towards the buildings, before looking over at Freya.
"I checked already, but maybe a double check would be a good idea too. Uh... d'you wanna come, or keep patrolin'?"
Maybe she could grab some food to eat or something before going out around town again? Fighting takes stamina, after all.

Besides, fighting alongside others made it easier to take the golems down, and she'd been patrolling with the intention of finding people to help. Now that she found someone, she wanted to make sure he wouldn't have trouble finding his own allies.

Giving a cursary glance around, Junpei motioned for Freya to follow him.
"So uh, Freya, where are you from?"
To say Junpei was curious about her and her abilities was an understatement.
no subject
"My world is called Gaia, but Burmecia is the land I call home," she explained. "Are you from Earth, as many of the others are?"
no subject
"Uh, yeah. Sorta weird a lot of us are all from there... But I'm from Japan, in particular."
Freya could probably tell that inspite of Junpei's talent with summoning, he held his sword rather awkwardly.
"What's your world like? Is there a lot of tech or anything, or do ya have a lot of magic instead?"
He supposed not, but one could never know for sure.
no subject
"We don't have the sort of technology that there is here, like the network devices, but we do have airships and railcars. But I would say that magic is much more common."
"Have you found many others from Japan, other than those you knew from home?" It couldn't hurt to satisfy her curiosity in the meantime...
no subject
"Airships?! Aw man, that sounds awesome!"
He's picturing those flying wooden ships from the games he's played... can you see the stars in his eyes?
"Where I'm from-- magic is super rare. It's like, not even considered a real thing. So having powers like this is pretty... out there. Most people wouldn't believe ya."
At her question, it gave Junpei pause. Who had he met?
"Uh, yeah; there's a few of us from a smaller country town that we didn't know were like us. And there's a few others who's names sounds like they're from home, but I dunno if we're from the exact same world. What about you...?"
no subject
The Dragon Knight gave another careful look around, hoping to hear if any golems approached. She didn't hear or see anything yet, but she didn't imagine they had all disappeared or been defeated just yet.
"I've only ridden on an airship once, but the sight that comes with it is worth seeing. Does your world not have air travel?"
no subject
At Freya's question, Junpei shook his head, somewhat forgetting they were more or less in a battlezone.
"Nah, we have something called 'Planes'! They're these huge metal tubes with seats inside them and big huge wings-- when they get to a certain speed they can actually launch themselves into the air and go up super high... which I guess when you think about it is pretty cool..."
