[Open] Runaway Kitten!

Summary: Banchou the kitten loves to explore but doesn't know when to not go in certain areas. His owner isn't sure to be amused or groan.
Warnings: Kitten appears at random. No really.

If anyone knew Yu Narukami, they would see him as a dependable and maybe a little weird kid. He also happened to love cats and if he had his way, the apartment would be filled with them. But when a couple months ago brought little fuzzballs that at first made people get stuck and then was the fear of snow monsters, Yu had to have one. And one...just came up to him. Liked him immediately and the boy thought that if the little guy wanted to stay then he wouldn't mind.

But there was a problem: Banchou the kitten liked to explore. And when someone says explore, they mean somehow get out of the apartment and end up in the strangest places. Like a cabinet, a trash can, someone's shower, the list goes on. Now Yu would stop him from doing this if it wasn't for the fact that the little bugger was like a ninja and wasn't seen. And somehow even when he gets put in a cat carrier, he gets out without notice. Hence why the bugger needed a bell.

Sadly, this was one of those times when the kitten thought exploring would be a good idea. It might be bad for the other residents living in the city.



(OOC: Feel free to have Banchou be anywhere your character is. Yu will also be running around trying to find him as well. Get creative and meet a kitty!)

Mutie makes the grumpiest face in return, and moves forward to nose under Davesprite's other hand, tucking her tail around her legs. Proactive action! And it gets a bit of a reaction, there's some petting starting absent-mindedly.

Yeah, he's not totally immune to that. Here, have some tummy scratches for your trouble, Banchou.

Don't be grumpy other kitty, there's plenty of pets for them both. And Banchou tries to play nice with Mutie by trying to paw the other cat lightly.

Kitten is either stupid or too friendly. Might be a bad idea.

Well, Mutie's usually friendly, but right now she's sulking and not acknowledging Banchou's pawing. The pets she is getting right now are not enough to mollify her.

Davesprite glances up to check the room again, then moves to give them both chin scritches, and leans in. "Give her a few minutes, she might warm up then," he advises in a whisper. Leaning back, he adds, "So how did you get here, anyway? You with someone?"

His collar says he belongs to someone but there's no tag; that's because he bolted out of there before Yu could put the tag on him. But all Davesprite will get out of Banchou is a cute chirp like sound.

That and somehow the door was open. Who knew?

Yeah, well. He wasn't honestly expecting Banchou to talk human, if it comes down to it. Would've been handy, but also weird. The chirp isn't quite what he expected, but yeah it's cute. "Got a bit of bird, huh? Catbird? Beats trying to keep those two in the same environment, I don't want to think about that. Got enough chewing on feathers already." And both kittens get scritches, even if Mutie is doing her best to look innocent. They make such good toys! Why does he drop so many if he doesn't want her to play with them?
