[Open] Runaway Kitten!

Who: A kitten, his owner, and YOU
Where: All over the city
When: 2/23-2/28
Summary: Banchou the kitten loves to explore but doesn't know when to not go in certain areas. His owner isn't sure to be amused or groan.
Warnings: Kitten appears at random. No really.

If anyone knew Yu Narukami, they would see him as a dependable and maybe a little weird kid. He also happened to love cats and if he had his way, the apartment would be filled with them. But when a couple months ago brought little fuzzballs that at first made people get stuck and then was the fear of snow monsters, Yu had to have one. And one...just came up to him. Liked him immediately and the boy thought that if the little guy wanted to stay then he wouldn't mind.

But there was a problem: Banchou the kitten liked to explore. And when someone says explore, they mean somehow get out of the apartment and end up in the strangest places. Like a cabinet, a trash can, someone's shower, the list goes on. Now Yu would stop him from doing this if it wasn't for the fact that the little bugger was like a ninja and wasn't seen. And somehow even when he gets put in a cat carrier, he gets out without notice. Hence why the bugger needed a bell.

Sadly, this was one of those times when the kitten thought exploring would be a good idea. It might be bad for the other residents living in the city.



(OOC: Feel free to have Banchou be anywhere your character is. Yu will also be running around trying to find him as well. Get creative and meet a kitty!)

"They would be! They would be! They like making new friends!" Diarmuid is practically jumping up and down in excitement. He then covers his mouth with one hand and giggles, "Just so long as they don't smell like their food..."

Because the wave of cute cannot be denied...

This place is good for Diarmuid. It gives him a chance to still be a cute little kid like he should be sometimes as opposed to being overly focused on his knight training.

"Do you have any other pets besides Banchou? Maybe that is why he sneaks out so much. He is lonely!"

Nah...more likely he just likes getting into things...

Kids should have a chance to be kids after all and he wasn't any different.

"Sadly no, it's just him. My friend likes dogs but I wonder why he hasn't gotten one yet."

No really, Banchou would probably sleep with the puppy more than fight it.

"Your friend is Shinju, right? Maybe he is worried that your kitty won't like a puppy friend? But Banchou is brave and I don't think he would really mind a dog...as long as it wasn't trying to eat him!" Diarmuid giggles.

"Maybe you should get him a puppy as a present if he likes them so much. Is his birthday coming up soon?"

"Aw..." The boy seems disappointed for a moment and then he suddenly perks up, "You can still get him a present anyway, right? It will just have to be a really good one because it's late! Like a puppy! You should take him to the pet store and let him pick one out. It will be an even better surprise that way!"

Well, Shinju did like dogs but wasn't sure if getting him one would be good or not.

"You can always just look! You don't have to buy if nothing feels right," Diarmuid smiles and then suddenly looks back toward the door of Yu's apartment. "I probably should get back home. I didn't tell my brother where I was going and I don't want him to worry about me. Can I come to visit your kitty again sometime?"

"He might enjoy the company of them that's for sure." He spoke, picturing puppies piling on his roommate.

"You and your brother can visit here anytime you want to. I'm sure Banchou would like to play with both of you."

"Yay! Then I will make sure we come over soon! In the meantime, good luck keeping track of Banchou!" Diarmuid waves happily at Yu and then leaves the apartment being very careful to shut the door on his way out. It might not do much to keep the kitten in, but maybe it will help a little?
