EVENT: Winter Cheer Part 2!

England stared at the message for several seconds before grabbing his coat and heading out of the apartment. He wasn't sure what was going on, but if he went, he'd probably run into some people he knew... America and Canada had been rather scarce lately. Had they even gone to the holiday party? He had presents to give them, and Hermione and Ashe (Prussia had already gotten his present). So England hoped to run into them.
He found that the Welcome Square was already filled with decorations. It... looked beautiful, actually. He had to admit that someone was looking out for them, even though they were stuck here against their will. Had he been here that long already?
The island made his way over to the stack of gifts and didn't see anything for him. Hmph. Typical. He was scowling (or perhaps ready to cry) when he saw that there were other people in the building. And there were more gifts in there! Okay, so England didn't want to get his hopes up again, but he was definitely feeling a little bit better about the situation. He rushed inside, though tried to remain discreet as he glanced around the room.
And that was when he found it. A box, something actually labelled with his name. His heart beat quickly and he opened it. Almost immediately, a small mint-colored creature popped out holding a little sack. "Mister England!" it chirped, fluttering its tiny wings.
England wondered if this was real. But it had to be. After all, the people around him were also receiving gifts, some of them live animals. Tears came to his eyes as he dropped to his knees and hugged the dear beast to him. "Fairy!"
So anyone who passes England will see the usually-stuffy
derpman on the ground, cuddling this creature.Englaaannnnd~
Well, Naoto'd been curious to check out what 'gifts' were left for all of them, but she was slightly surprised to see Engl-- Kirkland-san out and looking so... happy.
Whatever the creature was that he was cuddling, must have meant a great deal. Should she interrupt them? But ah, she had a gift already for him...
"Merry Christmas, Kirkland-san."
And it seemed like it truly was a Merry one for him.
naotooooochaaaaan~
"N-Naoto! Merry Christmas!" He was flushing darkly from embarrassment. Had the boy seen him cooing just now?
Sorry for the late ;w;
"I'm glad to see you looking well. I suspect this is a friend of yours from your world?"
Welp, Your world is obviously not 'normal' anymore, England. She's wondering if she should drop the bomb of knowing you're a country on you now, or waiting for some other time.
"Ah... here."
She held out a small bag for him, coloured red and green.
"This is for you."
Inside, he'd find two canisters of tea-- high quality tea, no less. Hopefully it would help his spirits as well.

"You didn't have to do that..." he said softly, reaching out to take it anyway. His cheeks only became redder. The fairy hovered closer to Naoto's face and smiled.
no subject
Naoto nodded her head to the fairy, offering it a smile.
"What's your name? Kirkland-san seems very happy to have you here with him, and for that I'm grateful as well."
Turning back to look at England, Naoto nodding her head.
"I know I didn't need to, but I wanted to."
no subject
"I am just a fairy!" replied the little creature. "I don't have a name! Mister England calls me fairy!"
no subject
She nodded towards the bag, before turning to the small creature again.
"Mr. England, I see... Well, it's nice to meet you, Fairy."
She held out a finger for the creature to shake with it's... paw? If he wanted, before glancing back at England with a knowing smile.
"I understand your desire to keep your privacy, Kirkland-san, so I'll ask if you'd prefer that I refer to you in public by your 'human' name."
no subject
Finally, somewhat meekly, he was able to speak. "You don't seem all that surprised." Or even skeptical, he thought. Did Naoto think he was crazy? The fairy shook Naoto's finger as England waited for a response.

Mint green.
Green.
Wings.
Prussia had never seen the thing, but since the gifts people were opening seemed to be familiar and the way England was hugging it...
"England, what is that?"
Well, at least he wasn't asking the toilet.
oh no my icons are gone
He blinked widely at the sound of Prussia's voice, and then turned to look up over his shoulder.
"You... you can see it?"
no subject
no subject
He gulped silently and rose to his feet. "Prussia, this is a fairy. And fairy, you know Prussia..."
"I know mister Prussia!" the fairy chirped as it flew off of England's shoulder and around Prussia. "Mister England loves mister Prussia!"
As soon as the fairy said that, England was grabbing it and stuffing it back in the box. His face burned bright red. "HAHAHAHA. YOU ALWAYS SAY THE SILLIEST THINGS."
no subject
Yep, he could get used to this little guy. He was more straightforward!
no subject
"Apparently this little guy was brought here for me. It brought some of my tea from home, as well!"
no subject
He turns to the pile of gifts and starts digging around and... "HEY IT HAS MY NAME ON IT!"
no subject
No, they shouldn't change, right? They were still countries. They would go home eventually. Yes, England couldn't lose sight of the bigger goal! There was no reason to get too comfortable.
He allowed the fairy to come out again, letting it hover around them. "Oh, good. Perhaps you got something from home, as well."

Well, isn't that a load of excited questions coming from...nowhere? Oh, the voice should sound familiar. After all, it's the same little dark-haired boy who gave England his gift at Cupid's Christmas party, but if England looks around, said little boy doesn't seem to be anywhere nearby.
Though...there does seem to be a puddle of water that is slowly growing not far away. Caused, perhaps, by the melting snow that got caught in the end of a far too large cloak of invisibility?
no subject
"W-well, it's not exactly mine. It lives on its own..." Where was that voice coming from?
no subject
no subject
It was the fairy that actually pointed out the puddle, causing England to turn his head downward. He jumped a bit when he saw it moving, and made a distressed noise.
no subject
"I'm sorry, Lord England! I didn't mean to scare you. I forgot I had the invisibility on," Diarmuid looks down, saddened by his mistake. "I didn't mean to scare you..." he repeats softly.
no subject
The fairy flew over to the boy and touched his cheek with its paw. "Don't be sad! I saw you!"
no subject
Diarmuid giggles when the fairy touches his cheek, "It is nice to meet you Lord Fairy! I won't be sad. I just don't like scaring people. Even on accident. It's not nice!"
