Operation Reignition
Who: Anyone who wants to participate in the event!
Where: Assorted places in and around District 3!
When: Sunday afternoon (the 30th)
Summary: POWER IT UP AND GO SHOPPING.
Warnings: None.
By late morning, it's obvious that there's something going on down by the bridges to District 3. Even if you missed the announcement on the network, it's pretty obvious that something is going to happen; townspeople mill about with interest as people set up tables. Irene and Mai are roaming the area, Mai mostly sticking to the medical teams standing by while Irene organizes the rest of the group. Keener eyes might spy one of the brothers responsible for the network, slipping off into the Third District through gates that stand open, but still guarded against any visitors who might attempt to approach before things are ready to go.
Off to one side, there's a shaded area, tents and a few chairs where visitors can wait to be allowed entry. There's a table full of water bottles and light snacks tucked up against the wall, to fortify you against the heat of the afternoon - and it is warm, and only going to get warmer. The natives seem to have accepted the baking sun as the normal way of things, but be careful that you don't get heatstroke.
At about half an hour past noon, someone brings out a little podium and sets it in front of the gate. Irene climbs up on it, holding a microphone in front of her mouth - her voice echoes from a number of speakers set up through the area.
"Alright, could I have my first group of volunteers over here, please? We've got your instructions ready for you to enter the district."
Looks like it's showtime. Are you ready?
((ooh; Event start! OOC information can be found here and here.))

GENERATOR 3
Hidden behind the cafe, however, is the source of their search - a cylindrical building, made of the same material as the surrounding buildings, not very noteworthy in and of itself, except for the large sign in front of it.

He feels a bit bad for talking Deadlock into joining him only to be separated, but well, maybe their natures made them a bit better for this? If so, it made sense to split them up. The knight just hopes group one is weathering Deadlock's crusty personality all right without Wing there as a buffer.
"If any of you are feeling undue weakness, please speak up." It's not a command but a soft-spoken suggestion. And an offer. Wing has no issue with touching, being touched or even offering a ride to smaller individuals. He has strong shoulders willing to bear any type of burden.

Cu Chulainn makes a small sound, but shuts up a second after. He originally wanted to speak up because he was feeling woozy, but he can remember what the giant had said.
Undue weakness.
And Cu Chulainn wasn't weak.
So even if Wing had heard him, he'll quietly slink away from the giant to keep from being discovered.

He'd been keeping an eye on the group, and this was when he spotted a child trying to separate. "We need to stay together," Kratos said firmly, moving to grab Cu Chulainn by the arm. He was fast and his grip was firm, though his expression bore no malevolence. As much as it pained him to admit, physical contact helped steady Kratos' flickering angelic powers.

He pouts.
"I'm coming back."
He almost wants to tell the man to let him go, but the touch is slowly helping him regain his energy.

He walks along near the front of the group, his long robes almost giving the impression that he's gliding. In one hand, he carries the starter staff he was lucky enough to find in a souvenir shop by the visitor's center. It's no Dreamwaker, but it's better than casting without a channel. Given the difficulties he's had focusing recently, even after meeting Yuna in person, it's better to be safe than sorry, after all, if his use of magic becomes necessary.

Maybe it's a little melodramatic but that's mostly for the benefit of a certain blue-haired someone. He tosses Cu Chulainn a wink, "Would you like a better view? Maybe you'll spot the generator before anyone else..."
no subject
His red gaze shifts to Kanonno. "It may be that they do not need the same energy to live, merely to power the city."
no subject
"I..."
Then he hears Wing's offer.
"Yes, I'd like a better view."
no subject
He pauses then, putting one knee to the ground and a hand out, offering the boy plenty of easy handholds to climb up his frame. Wing will help along the way of course, and there's a comfortable enough spot to sit or even stand between Wing's head and shoulder nacelle. "Let me know when you're settled and we can move on."
no subject
"I'm fine now. Wow! You're really tall! I can see much from here!"

...But that's not really important right now. She smiles at the group's new scout and calls out: "What do you see up there?"
no subject
He calls back to her.

[Cu Chulainn is so easily distracted by the sight of the pastries that he has all but forgotten about the generator. He turns to the nearest adult.]
Hey, can we go get one of those? Please?

That's right! We have a mission!

[A pause.]
What's your name, Sir? If I knew, I'd find you easier.
no subject
Ah, of course. [He bows his head.] I am Braska. My room is 2-05, if you'd like to come visit. My door is always open, assuming I am there.
