The changing colors and flickering lights
Who: Everyone!
Where: District 4
When: October 25th to October 28th
Summary: Ghosts and the like are still lurking about, but the citizens of Saeng Seong (native and guest alike) have never let a few hauntings chase away the possibility of celebrating a holiday!
Warnings: Occasional things going "boo", strange-colored food groups, and gun violence.
There is an old saying that whenever life hits rock bottom, the only way to go is up. It is likely the current mantra of the locals as they have done all that is humanly (or, well, whatever species they are) possible to deck out the city in as many red, yellow, green and white lanterns as they could. Some a kind of paper, some stained glass, and is that a few orange ones with weird faces hanging amidst the more traditional variety?
There is a stage for dancing upon and contests galore! Perhaps you've come for those, or maybe just the free food. Either way, this may just be what Dr. Mai prescribed to the unlucky ones to have a spirit or demon follow them around...
(OOC: Hello, players! We are in the process of posting these per day, so bear with us as we set this entry up. There are many stands surrounding the dance stage that are unoccupied, so if your character thinks up of something fun for everyone, feel free to make your own stand too!)

Are you sure you are okay? Do I need to kiss it better?
warnings for finger injury
Can you kiss it?
no subject
Is that better? Do I need to find a druid to heal you?
no subject
[He grins, though moving his fingers still hurts.]
You gave me a magical healing kiss. I'm sure it'll be completely healed before you know it.
no subject
[Diarmuid still seems worried about the cuts despite his brother saying they feel better now.]
I don't like you being hurt even if it is because you were making cool things.
no subject
[He looks at Diarmuid and then at the pumpkin.]
Wait! It doesn't have your little spot!
no subject
It doesn't, does it?
[He looks a little closer at the carving before looking toward his brother.]
We should fix that! But how?
no subject
[He pouts.]
no subject
[Diarmuid looks a the carving for a bit longer and then suddenly smiles.]
I know! Do you have your knife still?
no subject
[He takes the knife from its position on the table.]
What are you gonna do with it?
no subject
It's small, so you don't have to actually carve it! I bet just pushing the knife in a little bit to make a mark will work!
no subject
[He hands the knife to Diarmuid and stands back to watch him work.]
no subject
[Diarmuid takes the knife, carefully and lightly pushing it into the yom at the point where the mark should be. He turns it a bit to make the little round mark bigger and then steps back.]
How's that?
no subject
[He giggles and claps his hand...which opens his cuts up again.]
Ow!
no subject
[Diarmuid carefully sets the knife down and then looks around for something to cover his friend's cuts with.]
You really need to wrap them! Do you think there is a doctor or a druid around?
no subject
I don't know.
[He wraps his fingers in the edges of his shirt. The same shirt that gets used for blowing his nose or cleaning his hands after a meal.]
I haven't seen one and I don't wanna go to the hospital place!
no subject
Maybe we can go back home for a little bit? We have stuff there to take care of them. Then we can come back here and have fun together without having to worry about the cuts.
no subject
[He doesn't want the festival to end before he can come back.]
no subject
We aren't far from home and going home will be what takes the longest, I promise!
[He motions for his brother to follow him.]
Lets go! We will be back before you know it.
no subject
[He begins more or less barreling down the streets, trying to make it for home.]
no subject
Slow down a little! The festival won't go away the short time we will be gone. I promise!
no subject
You sure? We've already been here for a while.
no subject
[Diarmuid opens the door to the apartment building and motions his brother in.]
And soon we will be back.
no subject
[He walks on in, only to get greeted by an excited White, who almost jumps on him.]
Ow! Hey, watch it, White!
no subject
[Diarmuid puts a hand on the puppy's head and pushes her down to keep her from jumping anymore. He then points his brother toward the bathroom.]
She just missed you. Go into the bathroom and I will follow in a minute.
